To enter the Kent Dance Challenge please click on the links below, print off all the forms and return to our office. To save disappointment you may send in the registration form and fee to secure your place. The other forms can be sent in at a later date.
Places are given on a first come first served basis. Please note you are not guaranteed a place even if you have performed in previous competitions.

Registration form This form will confirm your place without you having to give us all the finer detail till nearer the competition. To confirm your place you have to send the registration form with the entry fee of £25.00 per routine. You are allowed to enter a maxium of two routines.

This is a opportunity for you to promote your School whilst offering your pupils the additional chance of expanding upon their performing experience.
The Winning School will receive a cash prize and a trophy that unfortunately must be returned and one group photograph. A press pack will be sent to all local newspapers. This fantastic event will enable dance students to experience the spirit of dance in an encouraging and enthusiastic atmosphere. Industry professionals (Agents/Bookers) will be attending so networking is a must. This event must not be missed.

Q Ordering Tickets
A You may collect your ticket money and send your order to K.D.C and your tickets will be sent out to you
as a group booking or you may call the ticket line at Mote Hall on 0845 15552277 and order your tickets

Q Do dancers need tickets?
A Yes they do, all dancers, spectators, Principals and chaperones will need to purchase a ticket and keep it with them at all times
Q Size of stage
A 7meters / 14 meters-23ft / 43 ft
Q When is the cut off time for advertising?
A All advertising MUST be in by 13th October
Q Show start time
A 4pm, all dancers and spectators must be seated by 4pm
(Dancers must be in costume for their first routine)
Q Show finish time
A We are hoping to be finished by 10pm (We finished the last few years on time)
Q Do you return the music?
A No we do not so please make sure you make a copy.
Q Do we have changing room?
A No you do not get your own changing room, you will have to find space in one of the rooms allocated. Please make sure you have a £1 for the lockers
Q DoI need to send a photograph and bio?
A Yes you do, you will benefit from the publicity.Please send a jpeg image and word doc to info@kentdancechallenge.co.uk
Q Do we getrehearsal time?
A No you do not get rehearsal time but if you find a space you can run through you routine.
Q What time can we arrive?
A If you are booked on a workshop please arrive to start the warm up at 10.30am. If you are
not taking part you can arrive at any time
Q Can I watch the workshop?
A Yes, you may purchase a viewing ticket at a cost of £5.00 (Tickets are limited)
Q How long is the workshop?
A The workshop runs for three hours and is split by ability into two groups.
